Waking up to Central Oregon’s crisp, high desert air will inspire you to take a short walk to downtown Bend, finding your way to

After breakfast take a stroll around downtown Bend and take a peek into unique boutiques or find hidden antique treasures. Shopaholics can head to The Shops at The Old Mill for brand-name shopping (and don’t forget TAX-FREE). Bargain hunters - head to Bend Factory Stores for premium outlet shopping. After a morning of power shopping make sure to stop by Maragas Winery’s tasting room on Colorado Avenue. Grab a bite at the historical Pine Tavern Restaurant, serving Central Oregon since 1936. Next discover Tumalo Farms located between Bend and Sisters. It's a beautiful place to visit, to learn more about the art and science of making cheeses, and to taste their wonderful Artisan Cheeses. Drive a few more miles and you will find the quaint western town of Sisters. Stroll up and down East Cascade Street, along Western storefronts, to hunt for more antiques, and hand made quilts, or to find a rare piece of regional artwork. Take a break and stop at Cork Cellars for more wine tasting. When you’re finished wine tasting enjoy Jen’s Garden for dinner. Their intimate cottage offers a southern French inspired dining experience. After your bountiful meal, head south back into Bend to enjoy one last evening in front of a warm and cozy fire, talking about which of the many places to stay and restaurants to try when you return for your Oregon Bounty experience in Central Oregon next fall.
